I remember having a conversation with one of the girls about an important decision. Frankly, I was pretty sure she was making the wrong decision so I walked her over to a copy of Philippians 4:8 that we had on the wall in the kitchen and I said, “Is what you’re thinking about doing “true…pure…lovely…”  After she thought about it, she said “no.”

Kids have a lot of stuff to process today, a lot of tough choices and pressure about what to do. Through Philippians 4:8 we can give them a great filter to sift through what comes into their minds and sort out the right things to do. 

This design is part of our “Stripes” series which is built around Isaiah 53:5, “By His stripes, we are healed.”  Each image in the group features a key Scripture verse set against rows of colorful “stripes” to remind us of the great love shown in Jesus’ sacrifice!
