Christ wants us to live boldly for Him - to act with courage and strength.  He is with us wherever we go and we have the full power of God to call on.  He is not looking for half-hearted followers.  He is looking for bold people, secure and full of faith - to lead families, to reach out to people in need, and to tell other people what a life with Christ is about.  This verse moves us away from a lukewarm, comfortable place into a call to live as bold believers.

The verse reads "Be strong and courageous...The Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."  Joshua 1:9
